Pleasant.

Pleasant.

Waterfall.

Waterfall.

We had a decent night's sleep at Golden View Resort in Baan Suan Phueang.
Breakfast consists of instant coffee and tasty rice soup.

The plan for today is a visit to the Pong Krathing Hot Spring, 50 km and 45 minutes drive. We've been there before.
And then we will visit another hot spring and a waterfall.

Indeed, after 45 minutes we arrive at the Pong Krathing Hot Spring and take a bath, communally, in water of about 45°C. That is quite warm but also wonderfully relaxing and fun with other bathers.
Bathing is divided into one-hour blocks, three quarters of an hour of bathing, after which the water is refreshed for the next group of bathers.

At a quarter to twelve we drive away again and stop at Maprang Kitchen ครัวมะปราง, where we have also eaten before. The food is a bit disappointing, we ordered something with wild boar and the rind is very tough.

We drive back to the hotel and hang towels and swimwear to dry.
Then we continue to the Bore Klueng Hot Spring ธารน้ำร้อนบ่อคลึง, a spring that belongs to a hotel. Along the way we see what Suan Phueang is best known for, beautiful resorts with lots of entertainment for small and older children, such as cuddling sheep, merry-go-rounds and so on.
The Bore Klueng Hot Spring, on the other hand, looks old and dilapidated, and we were unable to discover where you could bathe. But the mosquitoes are doing well there.

The next stop is at the Kaew Chan Waterfalls, not a very large but nice waterfall. And there is a lot to eat, it is tidy without any mess, and there are picnic areas here and there. We look at two of the three levels of the waterfall. We don't look any further because it's starting to get quite warm and we don't really feel like walking anymore.

Back in Baan Suang Phueang we see a market, and of course we take a look around there. Nice to see, and there is a lot of food for sale.
Back at the resort we decide not to go back to Bangkok tomorrow, but to drive to Hua Hin, where we have not stayed for years. We book a room for two nights at the Royal Pavilion via Booking.com, a hotel in the center of Hua Hin within walking distance of markets and the beach.

Just like yesterday, we eat at ครัวตะนาวศรี Café & Eatery where we eat deer, which tastes very good, and stir-fried ferns, which also taste very good.
